Claimant Bill of Rights

We believe claimants deserve clarity, honesty, and control over their own decisions. These are the standards we hold ourselves to in every claimant relationship.

   The right to verify us independently

   You have the right to independently confirm who we are before providing any information, including checking our business registration and calling us back at a published number.

   The right to no upfront fees

   HSP does not charge an upfront property-recovery service fee or retainer. Its recovery service fee is contingency-based subject to applicable law and the written service agreement.

   The right to a clear fee explanation

   You have the right to a plain-language explanation of how our contingency fee works before signing any agreement.

   The right to no guaranteed outcome

   No recovery or result is promised or guaranteed. We will not tell you otherwise.

   The right to independent legal counsel

   Legal services, when needed, are provided by an independent attorney selected and retained by the claimant. HSP does not receive compensation for attorney referrals or share legal fees.

   The right to ask questions without pressure

   You have the right to take the time you need to ask questions and consider any agreement, free from high-pressure tactics or artificial urgency.

   The right to clarity about who we are

   Homeowner Stewardship Partners is an independent private company and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency, county, court, lender, mortgage servicer, trustee, or tax authority. HSP is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. When legal services are needed, the claimant independently selects and retains legal counsel.

   The right to respectful, honest communication

   You have the right to be treated with respect and to receive honest, straightforward answers about your situation and our role in it.

   The right to confidentiality

   You have the right to have your personal information handled carefully and used only for purposes related to researching and pursuing your potential claim.

    The right to walk away

    You have the right to decline to work with us, or to stop working with us, without harassment or pressure to reconsider.
