Who We Help
Families & Estates
Property proceeds are not always claimed by the person who owned the home. HSP works with former owners, families, heirs, and estate representatives to determine who may be entitled to pursue a claim.
Former property owners
If you previously owned a property that was sold through a tax sale or foreclosure, funds may remain after the sale that could belong to you. HSP helps former owners understand whether such funds exist and what documentation is typically required.
Families and heirs
When a former property owner has passed away, surviving family members and heirs may be entitled to pursue funds on behalf of the estate. HSP helps families understand the heirship documentation typically involved and coordinates the research process.
Estates and representatives
Executors, administrators, and other estate representatives often play a central role in identifying and claiming property proceeds owed to an estate. HSP works alongside estate representatives to research potential matters and organize supporting documentation.
Legal boundary
HSP is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. When legal services are needed, the claimant independently selects and retains legal counsel. Legal services, when needed, are provided by an independent attorney selected and retained by the claimant. Matters involving probate, heirship determinations, or contested claims may require independent legal counsel, which the claimant selects and retains on their own.
